European Commission looks forward to opinions of EU residents on water reuse2016-12-02
The European Commission has invited residents of Lithuania along with those of the other EU member states to express their opinions by electronic means on water reuse. The opinions can be submitted by answering the questions presented in all 23 official EU languages, including Lithuanian.
This public consultation has been initiated with a view to developing the minimum quality requirements for water reuse in the European Union. The consultation will help to collect data, impossible to obtain from other documents, on the benefits of and obstacles arising to water reuse. It is also aimed at providing an opportunity for expressing different views and giving insights into the minimum quality requirements for water reuse.
More information on water reuse and measures developed by the European Commission to promote such reuse is available on the website dedicated to this initiative.
