Special prize of the Ministry of Environment for Lithuanian children in Spain2015-10-20
Yesterday, 19 October, during his visit at the Lithuanian Embassy in Madrid, Minister of Environment, Kęstutis Trečiokas, handed over a special prize of the Ministry of Environment to Skaistė Aniulienė, our country’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Spain, intended for one of the winners of the children’s drawing competition ‘How I protect nature’. The prize, the Lithuanian Red Data Book, is an especially valuable and dear publication for every friend of nature.
The Lithuanian Embassy that is the organiser of this competition has invited children of Lithuanians residing in Spain to take part in this event. The drawings must be presented by 10 November. The winners will be announced on the Embassy’s website on 26 November.
Minister of Environment, Kęstutis Trečiokas, has come to Madrid to attend the 7th FOREST EUROPE Ministerial Conference and the concurrent Extraordinary Ministerial Conference that should end negotiations on the Legally Binding Agreement on Forests in Europe.
