The 2014-2020 National waste management plan project will be presented to the public2013-10-24
At 10 A.M. on the 24th of October, the Ministry of Environment will hold a public meeting in its grand hall to present the National waste management 2014-2020 plan project. The public is invited to present its comments and suggestions during this meeting.
The goal of the 2014-2020 national waste management plan is to define strategic waste management goals, tasks and measures, to define national waste management and waste management tasks for municipalities, to define the direction of national and EU support financing, and to set criteria to evaluate the plan's implementation.
Participants of the meeting will be introduced to communal, industrial, and other economic activity-related waste management priorities, for which the producers in question will be responsible. Generalized suggestions from interested institutions and the public received up to this point will also be presented.
A report on the evaluation of the environmental impact of the 2014-2020 National waste management plan will also be presented. The communal waste management alternatives analyzed therein will also be discussed. These alternatives will be ranked according to their waste management costs.
